Steve, Check out my post #1461- I always thought de Bruin was brought to Qdel by Feinberg and brought there for a reason - I am anxious to hear the conference call tomorrow- not sure if I can though- I was also pleased to see the stock option deal w/ de Bruin - it looks very lucrative - but I like to see the CEO and the shareholders both with a "personal interest" in the success of the company- looks like de Bruin will certainly have that and more - from what I've heard about him, he is much more of a "go-getter" than Mr.Frankel - de Bruin will go find deals and opportunities and not wait for them to come to him. He has experience running both large and small companies (BM and Somatogen, both of which were eventually bought out). Let's hope we see some more posts on this board after the CC tomorrow w/ some reaction. It's been dead here lately - I guess everyone was holding their breath waiting for the CEO announcement.
