Small solace to the thread:
Some guy was on CNBC after the close today, and picked OFS stocks as one of his favorites, especially considering the carnage (my paraphrasing).
Also, let's anticipate "La Nina"; I poo-pooed El Nino last year, but happened!
To continue paraphrasing, things are always darkest before dawn...or before they turn the lights off completely!

Dave, Don't count us of the energy industry "out"- we are still here- and have been since 1859.... Asia will work its way through its problems- and in any case world oil demand is still running 70+mm/bbls/day- that's a lot of oil.... Right now the better capitalized energy companies are just waiting for the lesser capitalized energy companies to fold so that they can pick up their assets- "shark watch" so to speak.

In the services sector watch companies with lots of cash "go shopping" in order to bolster their bottom line....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
