What is the good news at the Supercom? Supercomm is the biggest show of the year for telecommunications and the hot topics this year were DWDM, ATM, DSL, and supporting technologies for high-speed solutions for the Internet. If there was any doubt regarding the importance of the Internet a year ago, there wasn't a shred this time. For those of us holding technology stocks, the primary challenge will be patience as global economics cause uncertainty and doubt. Based on Rubin's drawing a line in the sand with Japan today, I would imagine this uncertainty will continue until after they hold their elections in July. Later -- Pat
