regarding strong bids- bids and offer on nasdac help determine the stock prices on nasdac. bid -is the best price your willing to buy a stock-offer-is the best price you are willing to sell these stocks. when i mean strong bids in my history it shows people are looking to buy these things and their out there. to give you an example-klac-from 35-28 their was really no size to buy out their but in the last few days institions were looking for size and would take it-klac traded a 200,00share block at 27. that was my point the value guys are starting to buy and their willing to take size. first, about upcycles and downcycle its like the weather nobody has ever predicted it right. at semi's its a valuation decision what you think is fair. again, bought klac, nvls, lscc, tsemf today. tomorrow will add klic, amat to the hit list.then i will wait till july to see how things look. remember when we bottomed in oct-nov1997 we rebounded hard after that -amat28-38,klic 16-28, klac,36-45,tsemf 7.5-12-so i'm not convinced of upturn i am convinced its so negative and oversold that the reward outweighs the risk.
