JACK --- 1) 17000 LAYOFFS ---sad for the people ---positve for the company ---should leave CPQ with 63000 people ( attrituion , network system buyout , INTEL buyout of foundry lowered the number by 5000 )---still feel like they need to cut manufacturing more ( 3000) since they have not been able to get rid of old inventory + new sales growth is suppose to be only 9% the rest of this year 2) I do not really care about the inventory write-off as long as it clears the channel down to four weeks --- NO more deception or lies ---leave us with current product to compete 3) Need to act faster on in store sales using the new direct method --currently in 100 BEST BUY & circuit city stores ---supposed to be up in 4000 locations by the end of the year ---this is a joke---this could be done by the end of the third qtr--- SOMEBODY NEEDS TO KICK BUTT 4) Their is major positives to the merger / I wish MR.DELL was giving the speech tomorrow ---EP sucks as a speaker in delivering the message Just some thoughts BEST WISHES BILL P.S. I can live with the future but not with deception !

Well put Jack. That is my point here. How long does one keep hoping this stock is going to go up? This just seems like a crock by this CEO. I said a while back here that this guy should be axed. How do shareholders feel now? I do hold DELL and it may be high but I feel better holding that then a would holding this. Just my opinion! sz
