Not much too new at the Piper Conference. But Gary Jackson and Mike Loo presented. I must say Mike Loo is pretty impressive. He doesn't have the "billion dollar" experience, but he communicates well and it's pretty evident he was (is) a key part of running the tight ship along with kathy. I wonder if he's a candidate for the cfo slot? Gary, the head of strategic development, (something like that) former head of europe, seemed pretty solid on first impression. Vantive seems to have a lot of management depth, and the people seem to be of similar style. This back end loading disease just gives me the willies. They seem very comfortable with the growth in the pipeline and the market and being able to maintain their growth for some time, (3 years plus) but as always, it comes down to the end of the quarter. Here's my prayer for US domestic license growth! TD
