Robert: LOL! "Self regulating," yes indeed. Kind'a the equivalent of the fox, while standing in the middle of a luscious crop of eggs, telling farmer Brown, "Trust me Mr. Farmer!! I've their BEST INTEREST at heart!" If only WE had such a sweeeeet position as the MM's, eh?

Anyway, in thinking about things, today should be interesting. Although I doubt there's much downside risk from here(and this is pretty much confirmed by the last couple of trading commentaries), the Asian mess is bound to have some overall effect on things. My initial thinking is/was that it's this pressure that keeps VLNC's trend slightly negative. Additionally, my initial thinking was that, when p.o.'s are announced, if the Japan mess is as much of a disaster as such as The Economist's think, then perhaps VLNC shares will be doing the economic equivalent of swimming upstream in a deluge. But, having said that, it's also possible capital will be looking for a "safe harbor." And with p.o.'s in hand, I can think of no stronger safe harbor than VLNC(well, I can, but still it'll be a good one, no?).

Of course, this is all imho.
