Just a thought. In light of the end of 3rd quarter, stock market turmoil, this could be the last of the reg D excluding the 3 faithful long term holders, and some margin calls. Volume was about 4 times the latest average in a 2nd worst market day of the year. Momemtum traders could care less about the future of Ancor. Waiting a couple months to them means eternity.

Roger,

<Does anyone really know if there has been a single sale credited to the MKII? >

Ancor has said that the MKII has not been released for LAN applications, only for SAN. SAN sales are not expected to be significant this year, therefore very few MKII will be sold in 1998. I don't know why the MKII has not been released for LANs, perhaps just for marketing reasons.
