I believe Sean and others have indicated deleting is not a good idea. I tried IE4x and then tried to uninstall it and it left my machine totally inoperable. I use Opera occasionally, and find it very efficient. However, with no java support, I don't know how far it can go in appealing to the masses. Perhaps future versions will have that support. Lots of articles read recently regarding upcoming Win 98 release. In each of them, they say you will NOT be able to delete IE from the OS. Just the icons. How nice of Gates and Co.
