To all: With AMD unchanged after another bout of
torrential selling on the NASDAQ, I'll venture we're
just about SOLD OUT on this well oversold Chip maker.
I'm looking for a weak open during early trading with
a definite rally evident by 11 AM. I've waited long enough
to dollar cost average down. WHEN EVERYONE'S
CRYING YA BETTER BE BUYIN!!! LETS MAKE SOME $$$!!!!!

Reggie,

Yep. It seems that the thread has been abandoned. Stockman and his Intel cohorts must feel proud of their accomplishment. Congratulations, guys.

Also, Compaq sold their Alpha manufacturing facility to Intel, as part of settling their legal dispute, before the Compaq/DEC merger. As far as AMD producing Alpha goes, Compaq may be looking for a more captive partner. Intel has reason to want to see Alpha fail and may not give their production of the chip their best effort. Samsung has the rights to build their own derivatives of the Alpha architecture, and may not be entirely in sync with Compaq's plans. I see Compaq and AMD building a much stronger strategic alliance in the future.

Pravin.
