Boy Jim, you sound like I do... I am scrambling too to find out what's up with this stock. I answered what I can. Others join in if you have any answers. 1) Is SanDisk hedged against the dramatic rise in yen to dollar ratio? ==> This is interesting, let's find out. 2) What prompted Sandisk to amend its 10K on June 1? 3) Will Sandisk have any presence at PCexpo 98? 4) Will any of the Palm-sized PCs ship with CompactFlash cards? I wouldn't think so, but I was hoping for some added applications that would require CF cards. Do you know of any? 5) Is SanDisk in the semiconductor business or are they in the photography business? I think Lexar-Media is in the photography business. ==>I would say mostly in the semi business and card manufacturing with fingers in photography. 6) Do any of the camera store clerks understand digital photography? ==> I'd say they know enough, but not as much as I do. 7) Do any of your friends own digital cameras that use CompactFlash? ==> Yes, but not as many as I would like. But then it is still early. 8) Why doesn't Lexar-Media do its own PR? 9) Why did they hire a New York PR agency? 10)Why does Kodak keep advertising Advaced Photo System? Kodak reminds me of General Magic being blind-sided by the Internet four years ago. I can see Kodak not being in this market in the long run. Yes, their conventional photography business is getting blindsided, but they know that. Tell me more about this thought. 11) Have any independent third parties verified or debunked Lexar-Media's claims about speed?

¯7) Do any of your friends own digital cameras that use CompactFlash?® Jim, Our illustrator just explained to me his desire to buy a new digital camera. He's jazzed about the new low prices. He said that the removable memory card was the way to go. He saw the new Sony with the disk drive but was afraid of the weight and durability. The card was necessary for taking more pictures if needed... He will hopefully buy one this Christmas. Anyway, He started the conversation and I didn't prompt him. Just one man's opinion.
