""We applaud him," she says. "He's one of the greatest assets the industry
has. Our only concern is where things are defamatory or libelous.""

.... but then;

"It's not clear which of Mr. Davis's posts offends the exchange. An
exchange spokeswoman says the exchange can't point out specific
messages that prompted the letter because that would "be propagating the
defamations further [and] continuing the process.""

Well, come on, Ms Agnew. Your boss Mr Roland Fleming is threatening Porter with a lawsuit, and neither he nor you can be specific as to exactly what for?

I guess that just makes it a cheap threat, huh?

Get real, Mr Fleming c/o Ms Agnew. Listen to Jill - that's way too general.

Here, I'll show you how to be clear and specific in the following sentence;

Roland Fleming should be fired from his post at the Toronto Stock Exchange for the cowardly act of slapping a gag order on Porter Davis.

See - it's not that difficult ....... cheers, Ms Agnew ....... marcos

I read that "front page" WSJ-online article this morning. What a joke. Not only am I not going to trade on the TSE anymore -- I'm also cancelling my planned vacation to Canada, and switching back to domestic beers!
