Mon 15 Jun 98 News Release
Mr. Eugene Larabie reports
Labrador International, the operator of the Adlatok River 1 and 2
properties in the South Voisey Bay area of Labrador, has received notice
from Donner Minerals, the contractor, that the two phase summer work
program on the Adlatok River 2 property has commenced. The Adlatok River 1
and 2 properties are owned 50 per cent by Labrador International Mining and
25 per cent by each of Pallaum Minerals and GlobeNet Resources.
The phase 1 Adlatok River 2 program will consist of establishing
approximately 140km of grid lines at 200m spacing, geological mapping and
geophysical survey. The objective of the program is to confirm that the
exposed olivine gabbro intrusive dips below the gneiss in the eastern
portion of the claims. The geophysical gravity survey is expected to locate
any other similar gabbro intrusives below the known gabbros. The phase 2
program is expected to drill targets generated by the phase I program.
