I had a social conversation tonight with a physician who has been writing Viagra prescriptions for any of his patients that ask (unless they are on nitrates). He is very positive about the results, and doesn't think the fatality reports are alarming or unusual... in his words, "par for the course for a new drug".

Be that as it may, and with full understanding that Pfizer is not a "one tune band", if Viagra gets bad press, pfe will get hammered. Viagra has become a social phenomenon. Should it fail, even a little bit, there will be dire consequences.

jmho, Frank (still long on pfe)
