Nope. CPQ closed Friday at 28 1/8, up 1/16. Volume = 13,456,800

"Just for the fun of it, here's my guess for Friday's action in CPQ: 32 million shares trade hands, with CPQ ending Friday at 25 3/4."

You're kidding. They breaks even because of DEC. Compaq itself has been making money big time. Compaq doesn't give dividend to shareholder, so why would you care whether there is profit? The bottom line is: Is this a good solid company with good future?

If you say stock price drops, they just went up 1 13/16 today, and compares to IBM, HP, (both falls today), Compaq is doing much better consider the way NASDAQ is behaving.
