I missed the beverages on this one! -oh well wrong city for me. Does show BCE is quite active promoting e-commerece. With the activity of Northern Tel acquiring Bay Net and TeleGlobe taking Excel both under BCE (or partial)umbrella are expanding in the US. Also, in Montreal Gazette(Fri) says BCE is close to forming a new Co with Hydro Que for telecom infrastructures, first for Hydro Que then offer expertise or take ownership of the same to other enterprises. These deals can only benifit any of the other Co's under BCE in the long term - you never know what business comes your way. Mpact received contracts just being associated with Tandem doing their regular business- imagine what could come Mpacts way just being part of the BCE web.
