Yea...I saw that on CNN this AM, I either chose to forget about it or maybe memory continues to fade as I approach 44 yrs. of age!
This is the worst looking market I've seen since that eventful day in '87. OT, I think if Mr. G. has a bias, that would be a 25 basis drop in rates, as we are in free fall in many of the most important commodities (and the resultant lack of inflation), and the Asian contagion obviously isn't aiding our economy. My .02.

As to continued moratoriums on offshore drilling, haven't you heard that drilling is no longer required or necessary? We have bursting oil stocks and Asia has sworn off ever using fuel again. It's time to buy stock in Schwinn or any other companies that make bicycles, skateboards, roller blades and/or scooters, doncha know? These modes of transport are obviously the wave of the future since oil has become, shall we say, entirely obsolete.<VBG--whilst crying in my stoli>
