MDCO....yes a bargain & I'm buying ! - we've turned the corner IMHO.

I'm seeing green; finally - it's time for the bottom fishers to gourge themselves !

This zoomed to the top of my radar screen this a.m. WOW - totally misvalued; MDCO will be near the top of all the shallow drillers to see a major shift in earnings coming from deep water longer term contracts in 1999; increasing from 15% to 35% of earnings according to Smart Money article previously mentioned. I've read one report saying 50% of MDCO's cash flow will come from deep water by end of 1999.

FGII, EVI are screaming --- BUY ME ! CDG & FLC also; (IMHO) are also irresistable at these levels... How greedy and reckless can these damn shorts be ? Their day of reckoning will soon come.

I'm trimming back on some laggards and averaging down on core holdings with ''net'' buying; this has to be within 5% of any conceivable bottom for solid companies like FGII, EVI, FLC , VRC, CDG etc.

For the patient with cash just entering the sector; I'd love to be buying land drillers like BDI, PTEN, UTI and stocks like TCMS, HMAR at sub prior 52 week lows... hey add in OMNI , back down to where it made its 30% run !

I'm unloading all available cash ... FGII, EVI just waiting to see a support level... unbelieveable @ sub $30 & $40 respectively...
