now, Imnot sure what is meantby CO2 capacity,whether that is the number of binding sites per molecule or binding affinity. If the pfc molecule has more binding sites, then the pfc would be more efficient at carting off CO2 than hemoglobin. Depending on how low that drops blood concentrations of CO2, that could be good. Well, yet another question for the good doctor......
