>>Now I will ask you again. Given that for the last year you have been stating almost daily that shortly MU was going into the single digits and it never happened what is different now that will cause MU to go to single digits?<< david, what i've stated is that this bow wow of a company deserved to be in the single digits. i'm now stating it may even hit zero. this is based on basic business analysis. lack-of-moulah disease coupled with lack-of-earnings disease usually spells disaster. as for everyday valuation, the fund managers, the general public, etc. decides what mu is worth on a daily basis. the fact they make the slow boat to china look like the concord is something i can't be heald responsible for ;-) us bears are so far ahead of them we can't even comprehend their small minds. however, they do learn as we are near the teens one more time. too bad they have to lose so much before they learn ;-) mu is now down 30% since i ORIGINALLY turned bearish. of course, the numb-bulls made it dificult cause they are 6 bottles short of a six pack as proven by the absurdity of their expectations formerly and currently built into the stock price. another problem that exacerbated this issue is the liquidity problem - too much money (especially in the hands of monkeys with a single buy button in front of them, thanks lt ;-) that has fed (pun intended) a manic bubble in many areas of the market and not just in micron. of course, mu's manic price is 50% below its former highs while everyone else is 3 or 4 times their 95 highs ;-) now it is 75% below its former highs ;-) this is why i see the sox going down, too. not too mention their businesses are having earnings trouble, too. i believe even a raving idiot will be able to look at mu's balance sheet this quarter and see the "asteroid" is headed for mu. since they all saw deep impact with their 40 year old parents, the fund managers will realize that comets heading toward you is not a good thing. i bought octs as i think most of the big money has proven itself incredibly dumb, beyond all imagination, so i wanted 2 qs of massive losses leaving mu with very little or no cash and lots of losses. i am, of course, assuming these guys and gals do read and understand balance sheets and their impact on a business. fido has got to be the billion dollar loser. the bears on this thread would have been worth a billion to them. oh well. it isn't their money ;-) and they aren't that smart ;-) but, it might be yours ;-)
