No, I don't know which conglomerates are getting the money. I do recall a piece I read a week ago, where a very large, failing construction company, got refinanced and irritated someone. Who? I can't remember. Sounds like the IMF got irritated though.

From Micron's view, the answer is obvious. Micron is in the unenviable position of being screwed by the whole mess. They have a very good point. But the solution is not clear. I do feel bad for American companies like Micron that have to compete with virtually bankrupt companies like the Korean dram makers are. Imagine if you had a business and were trying to compete with someone who didn't even have to make a profit. The competitors should go under, but get bailed out, partly using IMF funding that comes from US taxpayers! Pretty tough situation. I feel for Micron.
