Saf T Lok Enters Into Exclusive Agreement With Fraternal Order of Police

TEQUESTA, Fla., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Saf T Lok (Nasdaq: LOCK) announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement with the Grand Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, the nation's largest police organization with over 272,000 members.

Under the terms of the agreement, Saf T Lok will have the exclusive worldwide endorsement rights to utilize the trademarked "Fraternal Order of Police", or "FOP" names and the FOP emblem on its packaging and advertising materials in connection with the promotion of its patented child safety locks for firearms. Accordingly, Saf T Lok will be the only gun-locking device endorsed by the most prominent police labor organization in the country.

The agreement also contemplates that the Saf T Lok grip lock and magazine lock products will be included in the FOP's merchandise catalog for purchase by FOP members at discount prices.

The agreement is for a term of two years during which Saf T Lok is required to maintain certain quality standards, pay a modest licensing fee, and maintain insurance coverage, to indemnify the FOP with respect to claims made arising out of Saf T Lok's use of the FOP name or emblem. Likewise, during the term of the agreement, Saf T Lok may not solicit or accept any other endorsements without prior approval from the FOP.
