I too am looking for the fed to lower short term rates. A flat yield curve, dropping stock market, dropping gold, crunched commodities.... looks like the markets are telegraphing a recession in the U.S. Or, at the very least, profitless prosperity due to deflation. Cash looks good to me. Or, very short term bonds.
