Let's face it the market is down on everyone but especially mining stocks. At least the new share financing isn't dead yet. Just called my broker to find out the status and he said they (First Marathon) hadn't given up on it, just that it was really tough getting it subscribed for and the market hasn't helped. YRI needs this money to get to the next stage with properties and I'd hate to see them have to jv it.

PSkars,
Your figures are very much on the low side.If you looked at the press release a few weeks ago Richard Walters commented on targets of 100 million ozs at Lejano and also Bacon. So we are talking 200million ozs of silver with serious gold and base metal values.
My calculations project a potential deposit in excess of 2 BILLION dollars in shallow open pit deposits.

Regarding the financing I would like to see a convertible debenture issued at 10.5% interest convertible into 600 shares of Yamana per $1000 debenture.

Richard
