EL..I thought there would be more vol too. Maybe after the conference is over it will pick up. Some one has to make the first big move, then the heard will follow. Sure would like to hear from Gardner (SSB) one more time, he could give things a good kick start.

Just saw the EP interview on CNBC. Pretty standard boilerplate, nothing new. EP was asked about the additional 2k layoff at CPQ, he said that action was arrived at as part of the DEC/CPQ merger review. He was asked about the stock price, no comment, other than he was 'enthusiastic' about the company's future. There was the standard talk about CPQ's thrust into services, being a global provider, etc. Last question was about the PC 3 years from now, EP said it would be different and that voice recognition might be standard by then.
