Packard Bell Inks Deal With AOL

" America Online (AOL) has been quick to take advantage of the freedom that PC makers have to offer consumers goods and services on their desktops. Packard Bell NEC announced it will highlight AOL as its featured Internet provider, just as Compaq (CPQ) did earlier this
week. Packard Bell said its new PCs will be delivered to consumers
with AOL software preinstalled and an AOL icon on the screen."
