Gary, It is my feeling that once the initial wave of "Oh No!" passed concerning the Sprint - Cisco announcement the people in the know wrote it off as no big deal. Sprint is notorious for announcing smoke and mirror ideas while Cisco is notorious for announcing 90 day deliveries on product that won't see daylight for a 9 months or a year (This is fairly common in this industry unfortunately.) This is just an old trick of trying to freeze existing accounts in hopes of having them wait for vaporware to become functional. I don't think that the players in the know took this announcement as anything more than it was, a future technology idea. In other words, show us how you are hurting Ascend's business and we might listen. This isn't to say that somewhere down the road Cisco won't produce a 'Ascend Killer', but I don't think they have it yet! Cheers, Steve
