ticker, as apposed to the calculated number if
you take all the lows for the individual stocks
thus far into the day.

lisa, I don't think "print basis" means what you think. If I recall his explanation during one of his CNBC appearances, it goes like this:

"Close" means just that. "Print" means any point that the index is actually quoted at during they day. "Intraday" I'm not sure, but it's either the same as Print or it means the "Theoretical" high/low using the high/low of all the index components at any time during the day. My guess is the 8719 is the theoretical low he would look for. BTW, we have blown through both numbers anyway, so I'd guess Favors must be short now. This also fits with the "top-to-top" study he did that we discussed here last week I think.
