I agree with this. I have not gone long against the box so am vulnerable.


Did you get your AMZN shorts from DLJ? I got mind from Discover & Datek. Schwab
does not have AMZN to short.


I did get shares to short from DLJ , also from BHC and Merrill Lynch. That was likely six weeks ago. I would have to look.

I would have given you some of my Amzn shorts, just before, I had to, buy to cover.

That is exactly my position. 1,000 short against 1,000 long. Problem is, I'm too afraid to unwind the long and go short.
