You are right and I am right. We did not know for sure that there is no CHIP.In fact - that is the very reason why thousands of posts were made. Half was saying- there is/ and half was saying there wasn't. Of course as time goes by... you have more people realizing there is no chip, but still some die hards saying there is. MPEG kept on saying there is. This issue has been argued to death in this thread since time immemorial..but we never ever gotten any confirmation from MPEG. Now, Dennis confirms that. What we know....we now know for sure. If you look at press releases, several times they have announce taping out and samples out by.....ist qtr 97 / 2nd qrt 97.. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.etc. etc. David and others did their best for many to at least see what was going on. A lot just refused to even see the other side. To be honest... I really don't feel sorry. Perhaps...next time they will be more objective. As someone said on this thread( I think it was W. Katz) ..... What does not kill us....makes us stronger..... I totally agree.... I had my own share of setbacks in my life. We all live and learn. Good luck to all.........
