the settlement is sounding like this: they are in agreement of 15m US and are negotiating the "extra costs" like interest and non tangibles. i would think it may be given as 15m cash plus a small piece of the south mines with opportunity to invest in a bigger position. The cash will first be used to pay down the 9.5m. I agree that we will see a convertible as a form of financing and probably taken down by dundee. They will want to be in the play but when there is less risk as an equity position. Saying that, the market doesn't agree (.15) there is lots of good value in the mines out there for those with a little guts and patience. Look at TIO on Toronto Tiomin. 3rd largest copper deposit in the world. undeveloped and no money. trading at .35. don't own any but it is a sign of the times!
