Bob,

Are you going to attend PC Expo?

I haven't decided yet. Last year was a disappointment. It is getting less and less software oriented.

To all,

Microsoft Launches Windows Terminal Server

I think this could be and opportunity for MediaGX based systems.

Bob,

I did end up going to PC Expo, but only for about 2 hours. Cyrix was there, on the main floor, with good size booth, in fairly prominent location. I don't think I saw AMD there.

They had some machines on display running with MediaGX 233, some MII 266, 300 and I believe 333. They had the Wyse terminal, which looked neat: flat LCD type screen and this tiny box housing the CPU etc. When Cyrix incorporate network support on the chip, the whole box will probably the size of cigarette box.

They were giving away T-shirts, and there was a fairly long line for them.

That's my impression after spending only about 5 minutes there.
