Sharp eye there, Bruce, although I was startin' to like the fish lore and instruction. ggg. Preferred dividends, eh? 'Spose those are in addition to the one pence us commoners get. Just might be more of an explanation for the latter strategy. Ah well, eyes remain on the prize, regardless.

Good weekend to all, and especially the Caps! As for the Utah Jazz, just go quietly so we can get on with it, or next time send in the Runnin' Utes. ggg.

Ken

Hello Bruce and Everyone,

Well, well......I saw the news out on my TOL and called our CEO to
clarify some things......here's what I got......

The one million writeoff was taken because Mr. Murphy's philosophy
of do it now seemed most appropriate. He didn't want anything to
stand in the way of next year and thought now was the best time to
write down the expenses of putting in the switches in Europe as well
as write down the expenses of consolidation to which I totally agree.
It cost us .052 in eps not including the depreciation but the way
the mm's treat our stock, it doesn't matter anyway(GGGG). Mr. Murphy
said it was fairly expensive to do the UK switches and consolidations
but they needed to be done so the company could continue its march
forward. (James, your take on writedowns was write on the $$$(G))

The share buyback has helped us from a shareholder standpoint in the
fact that we can now issue shares that basically only cost us $2 or
less. Those are cheap and to be well used shares.

Mr. Murphy also apologized for a Friday pm news announcement but I
told him I'll take this announcement anytime(G). Edge continues to
amaze him with their growth and he thinks the newest deals he has
going will fit in superbly with them.........

He also stated the shareholders meeting SHOULD BE(not will be) in
late July somewhere around the 28th thru 30th somewhere in Florida.
He said it would be airport accessable for the non-flying impaired.

My note.....I liked the 5mil in telecom related revenue. I think we
have become more focused and hope the new acquisitions like Locus
are able to be brought on board. If all this happens, the revs for
this company are going to explode.......

Take care...

Lou
