Jim, Thanks for the input on Vector Vest. While it is far from a perfect tool it has kept me out of trouble with some stocks.

I will keep your points in mind when using the VV report.

Jim, can you explain:

A third problem is that they do not accommodate stock buy backs as a form of tax free dividends to the stockholders.

I see Dell's stock buy backs as primarily for covering their employee granted call options. That doesn't mean I think you're wrong, I just don't see any connection to "dividends."
