Yikes!!

AMAT and KLAC scare me. We're not out of the semi-eq hole yet; capital equipment cycles are long long long. I recall all too well the last time I played that game -- I've been in AMAT, TNCR, LRCX, NVLS, PMAT, and a few others. Some of these no longer exist ... TNCR merged with KLAC.

On the other hand, I don't really have anything that I could recommend as a long these days. My holdings are equally speculative.

Remember how some people said that WDC could not go lower when it was in the 15's ...

God bless,
PX

Thread **OT**,

For the record, just sold KLIC and KLAC for a nice return. The wife just got her Bavarian Autosport catalog so call it a wash <g>.

SEG and IBM keeping me humble and AMZN keeping me confused.

Anyone out there follow Tom Kurlak closely? What the hell did he say or not say today that set the semi sector off?
