Anybody notice lately that whenever we make a lower low, the talking heads on CNBC suddenly decide that that was the real support level. All morning they were talking about how critical the 8750 level was (I'm sure that two weeks ago they cheered when it "held support at 8800"). Now they are saying "the market was able to hold the important 8700 support level after all."

BTW, I'll bet now that Favors will take today's print and theoretical lows and opine that, if we can make news highs from here, then we will go on to his previous targets. But if not, and if we go below these new numbers, then ... well, fill in whatever he said about 8719 and 8749.

I get cynical when things don't go the way I expected. Sorry.

Bob

hey coug,

heres my take FWIW. up to 9000-9100 next week. then retest of lows. this time taking them out again and a much smaller bounce. we are going lower for months to come.
