this "short squeeze" has a ways to go yet as we a re only on day 4. just look at diana corp a few years ago and everyone there was defending their long position also. it is hard to place a value on a company like amzn, but i sure would not like to be long at this time. too DANGEROUS. the downward spiral when it does occur will be brutal. in the meantime, we could easily see 100+ as amzn has a lot of followers including the motley stupids. btw. i have no position but am watching for the opportunity
time and the tape will tell the story in the end.

I agree with you completely! The point is that I think a lot of people are basing their shorting decisions on anger at the company for the reasons I cited. The run-up in price only makes them more angry and determined to "win" even at the cost of their investment portfolio. It amazes me because every investment book written warns against the emotional factors involved in trading. They are the #1 cause of loses, and I think it is being proven here.
