"Byte" magazine has a particularly good article in it's July issue,
regarding how IT people can help their company 'survive' the milllenium problem.

While not specifically about embedded systems, they were mentioned.

All and all it's a real eye opener for those who still think issues with regard to y2k are over-blown.

I don't believe the article can be accessed on-line.
Well worth the read.
