I talked to a person at The Dept of Revenue about two weeks ago on the subject of the electronic hook up. He said the entire project was on hold because of the uncertainty about the industry surviving. He had no idea when they might get serious about linking up the machines. He sounded like he and the Dept were hoping the VGM's get outlawed and they don't have to deal with it.
