Rocky,

>>What exactly have I lied about?<<

Here's one of your lies, Rocky.

Message 4287717

Oh, darn it...here's another lie:

>>HiFi Release Confirmed<<

Message 4838232

Actually, it hasn't been confirmed. HiFUD release isn't confirmed until it actually ships. It hasn't shipped. You lied again.

>>I choose to protect my sources until I am further able to confirm them, thank you very much. Rest assured, I will use all available resources to prove or disprove the inside drop concerning Sony HiFi's release "at the end of July" that came my way earlier today.<<

I hope you don't trade on this "unconfirmed" inside information. If true and you trade on it, it's illegal. It's called trading on non-public insider information.

If untrue, and you knew it, it's also illegal. It's called stock manipulation.

Philip

I choose to protect my sources until I am further able to confirm them,

Wouldn't the responsible thing to do is NOT say anything until you've verified your particular source? Your childish antics are getting very redundant and tiresome. Grow up for God's sake and get a fricken life! Channel your obsession into something more constructive. Take an interest in the March of Dimes, Cancer Research, Aids, Heart Disease, Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, etc.etc..Start to feel good about yourself for once. Start making a difference instead of wasting precious air.

C'mon Rock,

I love your SONY cheerleading, and we appreciate it, but please, and you must know it, it's HiFD. What's with the HiFi anyway? Your inside humor?

pssst, everyone, it's coming soon to a PC near you. And don't even bother answering with the ignorant comments like, yeah weve heard this before, where is it, whats the release date, blah, blah, blah. It's coming, already.

And to instruct as to why not to underestimate SONY as a late comer in any particular market, consider the home video business. Who thought that Nintendo and Sega would ever get killed by Playstation. At 5.5 Billion dollars in revenue in FY'97, it outsold by a margin of 7 to 1.

Rocky's right in that Iomega educated the masses that they really want a high cap. floppy. Now its time to deliver the REAL THING. Thanks Iomega for spending all of your Zip revenues on market development for HiFD. Much appreciated.

Rocky: Whether you realize it or not. The above explanation is an admission that you lied. Do I agree with your scenario that Sony will do damage to IOM? Absolutely. Do I buy your scenario of a $4.80 share price? I actually predicted it before you did based on a sales to stock price multiple. But IOM's huge installed base is not going to go away, and when credible management is selected, IOM will again see institutional support. What I find a disgrace though, is the fact that you would publish something that you cannot verify. While it doesen't make you the most egregious poster on the IOM board, it casts a great deal of doubt on your credibility. A man of integrity would do what Phillip Davis did when he posted the query pertaining to your possible address in New York: Realizing that he had gone too far, Phillip asked the Webmistress to withdraw the offending post. You should do the same with your Sony HiFD release date post. You should demonstrate the same level of integrity that Phillip Davis has demonstrated. I doubt you will since one thing I have come to realize in my 38 years in the market is that a pathetic person can indeed be right when evaluating a stock's performance.
