HEHE So did I! Except I don't hate this stock, 'cause them I would be investing with emotion. This stock is just purely overvalued...

One big wirehouse today had the nerve to come out and say in broker terms its a short term sell around noon... Price target $42 I think.. How many to follow?? Barrons maybe this weekend?? Praying for the top!

Glenn,

Have a good feeling about your judgment here. At $61, its not a good time to go long at all. Buying a few puts (and writing a few calls) are better. :)

You and others have identified the short term competitive advantages of the "Big Boy Bull(who are manipulating the price as well as calculating anxiously for profiting taking)" -- high short interest couple with low flow; which makes easy for cohesive effort to squeeze the short and attract the MO player at the same time.

Forced major short covering had to be one of the major reasons for last week's $20 gain; especially given the general weak market conditions. Lets see what they are going to do this week!!

We will just pace ourselves, slowly but surely, write calls and buy puts if it surges, trading and repositioning when Amzn retreats and whenever there is short-term profit to be made.

At this level, Amzn is not a long-term investment at all. It offers trading opportunities and short-term profit.

You are a pro at separate your emotion from trading decisions towards Amzn, View it as a money making machine, may take a while...

Amzn is a long-term short; you and others are good at long-term strategies. But lets all tell ourselves clearly here: the risk tolerance of one's current portfolio is a major consideration in dealing with Amzn. There are always other bigger/better opportunities just around the corner.

Jan :))
