James,

Wow, you are soooo....right!

The NYSE is the largest casino in the world. And, it is much less a level playing field than your average Las Vegas casino.

It is much more a mechanism for the transfer of wealth from those that are not connected (insiders) to those that are.

And, THEY just keep coming up with more and more varieties of scratchers for the players.

Regards,
LG

If one wants to get rich off of the market...look towards examples like Warren B.

Jim,
I agree with your assessment of the general market averages. I'm glad you mentioned the fact that the dogs are kicked out of the popular averages and replaced with gazelles so over the decades, the
market APPEARS to perform better than any other investment.
Anyway, another bearish factor that came up this week was the fact
that Goldman-Sachs is talking about going public. These boys see the
top and would only give the great unwashed masses a piece of
the action if they thought game was about over. They do not share the
wealth for benevolent (sp) reasons.
The little rally on Friday afternoon, IMO, is about over, possibly
a little follow thru on Monday and then back to a retest of of 1082.
I will not go long until that, if it takes all summer. But will go
short on a dime with puts and futures if this thing fails quickly.
About Jimmy Rogers, I believe he rode the coat tails of Soros when
they were partners in the 70's. As far as I know he only made one
decent call himself then, on defense stocks, and it took awhile. I
could be wrong but thats my thoughts and opinions.
As far as Cohen, shes Goldman Sachs, what do you say.

Good luck.......the COUG, swimming with the sharks, but knowing it..
