I ran the scan as you requested using 99% at 52 week high. I came up with 87 stocks at the cob Friday 6-12. Ames was not one of these stocks. I then ran the search using 98% and came up with 177 stocks and again Ames was not in the list.

I don't have an explanation of why Ames shows on your list. I do like v4 but would like to be able to write my own scans. An alternative is for the Brothers to be response to requests. I have asked for a scan of an absolute screen for stocks reaching a new high for the day. Hopefully the company will respond.

<<I have now set up a scan in Ver 4.0 called "AT 52 WEEK HIGH">>

You are not going to like the answer. It is not really possible to get stocks at 52 wk. highs. Note that some of the scan criteria have "H" following their description - these criteria can be computed as often as hourly since the download contains the necessary info (updated hourly) for these to be computed. Others, like the "% 52 week" scan do not have an "H" following them and the data necessary for their computation is current only once a week - on Saturday. This means that if you scan for 52 wk highs on Friday you are finding stocks which were at (or near) 52 wk highs the previous Saturday! Of course they may have dropped since then. If they went up then the scan results appear to be correct but are actually several days old.

Surprised? I was too. Cancelled and ordered Metastock. Sorry, I knew you wouldn't like the answer.
