Steve, You want insight into this Q. 3COM NICS and Hubs and Switches are all backorder from our local distributor in Toronto. They have said 3 - 7 days lag. (or at least that's what they told me) Now, you're starting to convince me! :) I've heard lots of stores are backlogged for orders for x2 56K modems. And I've seen tons of ads for DELL computers that sell with x2 56K modems. So, it seems that they're selling a fair amount of modems (who knows what the price margins are...analysts will be targeting that, but I think COMS is going for market share first when it comes to modems). What we need is a list of distributors around the country, that we can call periodically and ask how sales are doing. This may be the only way we have some feel for sales. Steve, it sounds like you've already spent your profits on what you expect to get after COMS has reported. ;-) By the way, are you in computer sales by any chance? joe
