re Jan 2000 DELL LEAPs

Mike,

You are correct: they are a very nice value. That's why I bought them 9 months ago (only now they are 35s). Today I bought some INTC JAN 2001 60s @ $23.25. Do you think there is any chance INTC will go to 85 in the next 2 1/2 years?

Congratulations on a nice trade!

DELLish, 3.

As far as leaps go, the best buys seem to be CPQ and not DELL.

If you look at the most sought after (highest volume) calls being bought located at:

coveredcalls.com

The only leap listed is Jan 99 CPQ at 30.

A week ago they also had CPQ Jan 99 at 35 which I bought. It is already worth 28% more than I paid for it. I still think it is the best.

Anyhow, carefully selected CPQ leaps seem to be much better (quicker to go black) and more affordable leaps than DELL.
