One might look into Investrade as well. They do options at $1.75 per contract, $15 minimum, BB stocks, touch tone trading, checking, and balances are updated immediately. The web site is a bit slow, so its nothing for daytrade scalping, but it works. Just remember to include a margin agreement with the options form (their policy), and allow 5 business days for checks to clear (overnight them everything to lessen the delay). Their options executions seem fast and good.

>>I called mdb ...

A slip of the pen? I said DBS (at www.tradepbs.com).
Are we discussing the same folks?

Free checking? I guess they don't bother to tell existing
customers about new services. I must ask about that.

I'd take that fast executions and immediate confirmations
with a grain or two of salt if I were you. Still, for me
they are adequate most of the time. I doubt a day trader
would be too happy.

I find the web site(s) disorganized, but effective enough
once you learn to navigate.

Occasionally I worry a bit about lack of security, for
which I've been called paranoid right here on these pages.
