Don't forget the Xeon line. I think Xeon line will bring big bucks to Intel. A lot of people worship their servers, and are willing to sacrify thousands of dollars at the altar.

Intel will make good money from that, provided companies buy it (both figuratively and literally) and don't opt for something else. At that price and performance Alphas, etc. start to become attractive. Intel may have outsmarted themselves by closing in on the Risc boxes so quickly.

I wouldn't be surprised if Intel started to give away Celerons at a loss, just to make life miserable for AMD, IDT and NSM, and make all of the profit on the Xeon line.

Not bloody likely with INvestors and DOJ breathing down their necks. That would be dumping and subject to lawsuits from Cyrix, AMD, IDTI for damages, not to mention shareholders and the government.
