Eudora is already very competitve with Microsoft. Keep in mind Eudora's already installed base of 18 million users and excellent marketing with shelf space at software stores. Eudora Lite and Web-Mail software is also freeware to download at
eudora.qualcomm.com

Round that out with a free demo download of Eudora Planner and you have a much better installation on your computer or network than Outlook.

IMHO Eudora is a tremendous unrealized value for QCOM shareholders. It would be a super internet company on its (spin off) own or sell/stock swap with a company like Network Associates. Although in the long run I think that it might be strategically more valuable to remain in Qualcomm for best exploitation of fabulous 3G Qualcomm internet and OmniTRACS products two or three years down the road. I trust management on this call... (but would like for them to talk up Eudora more for the benefit of Wall Street).
