What he is doing essentially is just like raising rates without
really doing it.

Agreed. It is truly amazing, isn't it, that our 1 trillion economy,
plus others around the world jump to the mere few words of one human
being, with all the attendant wealth or misery that an economic
change can bring . . .

I just returned from a PC show in New York. A few of the vendors there did not have any Intel CPU only AMD & CYRX in all speeds. After questioning the vendors they said Intel CPU were all sold out yesterday (Saturday) they wanted to take orders for tomorrow. They said Intel CPU's been selling out in a day or two. There were P-II on hand.

Of course this is one small show however, I been to them before and personally can't recall this happening at these shows. I'm hoping this may be an indication the channel is starting to move? And with PC-Expo at Javits center this week the company buyers may do the same for Intel.

I'm hoping Q2 will have a strong close just like "Real Quiet" the almost Triple Crown winner. In Intel's case coming a nose off will be a big celebration!

I would not short INTC here expecting negative pre-announcement! And I would be thinking about taking profits from the last down turn. But please realize I don't know what the hell I'm talking about!
