Peacelover,
trust me, there isn't enough of your kind of sanity and rationality to go around. The rampant egos and buy/sell power around the SI threads (let alone yahoo's), perhaps risen out of profits of an aging bull market, I'm sure can and will be the catalyst costing money and dreams, unfortunately yours and mine.

Live long and prosper-
Scott

Peacelover,

Sorry if you are aggravated. But the inquiry into the status of the inventory in the channels of the direct boxmakers is relevant to the health of the market as a whole. It is also relevant to the competitive position of DELL.

As to insults from some of the people on the CPQ thread, I have no control over what they post. I would prefer them to be civil.

I made money last year on CPQ stock because I was able to predict some of the problems that they were going to have. Without that effort I would probably have lost money on the investment.

A show of tolerance for opposing viewpoints would go along way toward resolving the mysteries of CPQ financial statements and in reducing the aggravation of those holding opposing positions and viewpoint regarding this company and its stock.

How will you ever know that your investment is going sour, if you are unwilling to consider the contrary evidence?. It could save you a lot of money. But it is your choice.
